playable PRO - Play almost anything video player App Reviews

Have had this App for 2 years now and keeps working fine

It does play all those formats. I like the wifi transfer and the browser. Main frustrations: how to delete files? If you hold on any file, the app simply crushes. Whats the point of creating folders? You cant drag any files into it as it simply crushes the app. Audio selection? I had mkv files with two soundtracks: original track and commentary. The uploaded file automatically plays the commentary

Love the ability to download videos and watch them later. The only problem is that it is always in landscape mode and I wish I could change that. But that is small potatoes. All in all great app!

Since you have to worry about if your video was encoded with ac3 - this app has become useless to me nut I wasted money on it mistakenly anyway, lame...

Used to be an amazing app but needs some serious patching if you hold your finger on a video or a folder it now crashes the app instead of allowing you to drag and delete it. Also has some audio codec issues.

The player is fair. Some formats work without problem other formats dont synchronize video and audio or play at variable speeds so that scrolling back and forth isnt really possible

Good idea but lousy performance of video playback. Audio sync gets lost on a regular basis. Sometimes so much the video becomes unwatchable. And thats not in HD... id like my money back.

1. cant find any support address on the developer website bewhere.co.uk 2. mp4-files are not listed in the ftp directory 3. when trying to access playable by the browser in http-mode a documentation of "Flurry iOS..." is shown instead of the uploaded files. Using playable PRO

Plays the videos ok, even more exotic formats. I watch a lot o university lectures for which no thumbnails exist and every time I open the program, it asks me whether to search thumbnails for them or whether to add the new videos and I gotta click 20-40 times no or yes which is pretty annoying. Also it doesnt always recognize my Bluetooth headset and then freezes. I also dont seem to get the FTP working even though I installed the java applet on my pc. When I do, it usually drops the connection half way through transfer.

I bought Playable pro last year and I was pretty happy about it. Since the last update I havent been able to watch any of the videos that worked just fine before. The app doesnt support avi format anymore... I feel cheated...

Movie always restarts instead of pausing! Ear piercing distortion noise when each video is started! NO GOOD! DO NOT BUY!

This app is awful. Asks me every time I open the app to look for thumbnails of every video I have. I have too restart every video each time I reopen it. Half the videos the audio clip is out of sync after a few minutes. And never seems to be upgraded.

I find it works quite well and lets me stream to Apple TV.
